Hair stylist Guido Palau wanted the models to appear glowingly healthy, almost as if they'd just emerged from the beach. But while the textured hair might seem like they've spent the day surfing, Palau achieved the same look by spraying hair with Redken Guts mousse and securing it into a low ponytail with an elastic at the nape of the neck. "I wanted it to be sexy and wet, but because you can't actually have models walking with wet hair down the runway, that's where the mousse comes in."
COVERGIRL makeup artist Pat McGrath continued the sporty idea with defined lashes, fresh skin, a swipe of blush on the cheek, and some nude lipstick to mute the mouth. She topped it off with a creamy bronze eye, which you can get yourself with products like Shadow Blast in Bronze Fire.
After all, as Palau explains, "What's most attractive about this girl is that she's glowing, and the look feels unforced." Easy, breezy, beautiful, indeed.
